Modern orthodontics offers the possibility of treating malocclusion (bad bite) not only in young or adolescent patients but increasingly in adults as well. This is possible thanks to the use of fixed orthodontic appliances, which are installed directly on teeth and remain there until the defect has been cured. Plain, porcelain locks currently used in fixed orthodontic appliances are practically invisible and enable every patient to receive appropriate treatment. According to a recent study, as many as 30% of children and adolescents require orthodontic treatment. Not treating the defects leads to premature loss of teeth, gum disorders or deformation of facial features. At our clinic we will make all radiograms necessary for the proper planning and administering of orthodontic treatment. |
