7. I lost my teeth as a result of periodontosis. Can I have implants placed?

Periodontosis does not pose any problem as far as the lasting and proper functioning of implant-borne teeth is concerned. Implants, however, can only be placed after the patient has been cured or the progress of the disease has been brought to a halt.

Today, treating periodontosis is one of the few routine dental procedures which we pay special attention to in our clinic. The application of special preparations combined with sophisticated surgical and preventive procedures makes it possible to stop and cure the disease. The only condition the patient is expected to fulfil to assure proper functioning of the implants is practicing scrupulous dental hygiene, which is checked and corrected during control visits.

Getting rid of periodontosis is for many of our patients a preliminary phase before the proper implant treatment is started.

All our patients are granted a 10-year guarantee on the implant
jobs performed in our clinic, irrespective of how they lost their teeth.
