1. Is an implant surgery painful? In order to provide our patients with the highest possible comfort duringthe treatment, we use a computed appliance for painless administration of anaesthesia. The application of effective anaesthetics practically eliminates pain. For most patients the discomfort experienced during implant placing procedures is comparable with what one feels during a standard treatment of a tooth under local anaesthetic. The minor discomfort which may occur 2-3 days after the surgery is entirely relieved with commonly available over-the-counter painkillers. |
