Consultation visit
After getting informed about a patient's expectations, we devise a personalised plan of treatment. It is based on a thorough examination of the patient's teeth and radiological diagnosis. In our X-ray laboratory we perform any required diagnostic tests (pantomograms, Digital Computer Tomography, etc.). Those tests provide us with the information on the bone condition, which enables drawing up a detailed plan of implant treatment. Procedure A standard procedure of installing an implant involves an incision and "flapping" of the gum (to expose the jawbone). Then, an implant bed (a canal for placing an implant) is drilled in the jaw. After a few months needed for a proper fusion of the implant with the bone (3-6 months depending on the location of the procedure) new teeth are fixed to the metal screws. Owing to effective anaesthetics, the procedure is absolutely painless and any later aches can be can be soothed with commonly available medications. Tooth making Final teeth, made individually of porcelain by a dental technician, enable the realisation of a patient's all expectations concerning their shape, size or shade. Beautiful, new, strong and permanently fixed teeth allow unlimited biting, gnawing and chewing of food, giving the feeling of extreme satisfaction. New teeth on implants look identical to the natural ones. |
