In Sanadent Clinic we often use an advanced method of installing implants without having to cut the gum or put in stitches. Implants are placed directly through the gum, which guarantees rapid healing.
After the surgery, patients do not feel any discomfort or severe pain and the swelling practically does not occur. A day after the procedure, patients are fit enough to return to their everyday activities. For this method to be successful, however, there must be enough bone tissue in the patient's jaw. Therefore, before any decisions are made, patients are examined with a computer tomograph. The examination, which is carried out on the spot, allows us to determine the condition of the bone tissue and consequently choose the most suitable method of treatment. No scalpel procedures mean that there is no visual control of the area where the implant is attached to the bone. The surgeon then relies on special surgical guides which enable precise placing of an implant in the most appropriate position, according to a pre-procedure image on a computer screen. Sanadent Clinic is the only clinic in Poland to have an appliance for making those surgical guides, which gives us the possibility of planning and making them swiftly and with a great degree of precision.
